A place to practice.
A way to see progress.

Embark IQ brings your L&D team's AI learning into one place: short lessons, games with course questions, checks and an AI guide.

You see who is practicing, what they've passed and where they need help. Use that view to decide what to coach next.

How does it work?

Your team works through a course on AI for L&D, one lane at a time. Each lane is one topic, with one short lesson and one short check.

  1. We set up your team's space

Your team gets its own space in Embark IQ, with the lessons in lanes and practice questions for the games.

  2. Learn in short steps

Each lesson goes one small step at a time, in plain words. The sample course uses made-up examples.

  3. Practice, then check

Practice uses the course's terms and questions. Passing a lane's short check opens the next lane.

  4. See where to help

See course progress and check scores, then choose where to focus your support.

Give your team somewhere to try it.

These are real screens from the Embark IQ demo, with a sample course on AI for L&D teams. The people in it are made up.

Short lessons, one step at a time

Work through one small step at a time, with a goal and a chance to try it. The sample course starts with AI basics, mistakes to watch for and boundaries for responsible use.

A Lane 1 lesson in Embark IQ, AI Basics and Hard Lines. The lesson starts with its goal, a time of about 40 minutes and what you need, then step 1: What is AI, and what is it great at for our work?

The next lane opens when they pass

In the demo course, passing a short check opens the next topic. Progress shows which checks someone has passed and which questions they have practiced.

Competency Mastery for Hana Okafor, a made-up learner: four lanes mastered at 100 percent, Building Practice at 79 percent and ready for its check, and Ready to Share locked until the Lane 5 check.

Practice that feels like play

The Game Hub turns course questions into puzzles, quick quizzes and arcade games. In Cannon Blaster, pick the cannon with the right answer. The practice stays connected to the course.

Cannon Blaster, a practice game in Embark IQ, on question 1 of 12. The bubble asks What is a prompt? Four cannons hold the answers, starting with The message you give an AI to say what you want.
The Embark IQ Game Hub: Cubicle Run, Deadline Run, Sinkhole, Cannon Blaster, Task Tiles, Puzzle Reveal, Moon Jump, Quick Quiz and Flashcard Drill.

E.M., the AI guide, when someone gets stuck

Ask E.M. to explain a term, find the next step or help with the course. Your team can type a question or use voice.

Progress answers stay on screen. E.M.'s spoken replies are for general help, without names or individual progress.

E.M., the AI guide in Embark IQ, answering What is a hallucination? E.M. says it is when an AI writes something that sounds right but is made up, points to the made-up Zorble Panel steps, and says every fact needs a check against a real source.

Know where your team needs you.

See course progress, check results and practice activity together. These sample screens show what you can review with your team.

Find who needs a hand, and why

Insights highlights people who need help and suggests a next step. Open a report card to see their checks and practice before you decide how to help.

Three Insights cards. Going well: 8 of 11 passed Lane 1. Who needs a hand: Cole Hammond and Gabe Lindqvist, with their tries and best scores. What to do next: sit with Cole and Gabe on their lane checks.

A report card for each person

See completed checks and practice by topic. AI can draft notes and suggest ratings for you to review. Download the report as a PDF for a coaching conversation.

These are learning and practice signals, not a claim of productivity gains. Your team decides how they apply to real work.

Who's behind Embark IQ?

Rachel Weiss, founder of E.M. Designs

I'm Rachel Weiss, founder of E.M. Designs. I'm an instructional designer, and I build learning games and the platforms they run on, with AI coding agents like Claude Code.

On a training platform I built, people have played more than 64,000 games since spring 2026. Embark IQ brings that kind of practice to your team's AI work.

You can see my games and hear me explain the work. Explore the games or see my talks and workshops.

Before you bring your team in.

Where does the actual building happen?

Embark IQ is your learning and practice space. The sample course's building exercises use Claude Code with a starter kit: plan a scenario, build it, try different learner paths and check the result. Bring your company's approved-tools list to our call. We'll agree what fits your setup before you book coaching.

Is this for my team or for me?

We work with L&D teams, including a team of one. The content and coaching are scoped around your work. If your goal is to build your own learning game, Game Lab Academy is the individual learning path.

Does it replace our LMS?

No. Embark IQ is its own web space, and your team signs in on the web. It sits beside the systems you already have. If you also want games inside Storyline or your LMS, I build those too, as web objects and SCORM packages.

What AI does it use?

E.M. and the AI drafts run on Claude, made by Anthropic. E.M.'s voice comes from ElevenLabs.

Can you help with our security review?

Tell us what your organization needs before sharing company content. We can walk through the current setup, AI services and access controls with you. Single sign-on is not available today.

Can we use our own content?

Yes. Your team's lessons, terms and questions go into your team's space, and your experts can review and edit every question.

What if some of my team aren't sure about AI?

That's welcome. The first lane covers where AI goes wrong and the hard lines your team never crosses, before anyone relies on it. Your team stays the experts who decide.

Do my people need to code?

No coding is needed to use Embark IQ. The lessons and practice run in a web browser.

Do you support single sign-on?

Not yet. Today, people sign in with an email and a password. If single sign-on is a must for you, tell us on our call.

What will I see in the demo?

A sample course on AI for L&D teams, with a made-up team. Try a lesson, a game and a quick check as a learner. The demo opens the first steps of each lesson and one round of each game.

How is it priced?

Ask about pricing for your team. Your Embark IQ course space is included with E.M. Designs' team coaching for the coaching period plus 30 days. We'll discuss the content, tools and support your team needs before agreeing the scope.
