About
Rachel Weiss

I'm Rachel Weiss.

I'm an instructional designer who got much more interested in what AI could build than what it could write. I started in gamification, then picked up coding agents, and the question in my head changed from "how do I explain this" to "what can I build so people learn by doing." Today that means real L&D software: games, generators, and interactive tools that instructional designers and lean teams can put to work without waiting on a dev team.

Outside of EM Designs I co-founded Women Who Build, a 20-week go-to-market cohort for women founders, with Niki. Everything I have live is listed on one page: what I'm building.

Who it's for

Instructional designers, trainers, and L&D teams who are expected to do more with less and who care whether the training actually lands. Especially the ones working without a big department behind them, standing up a new program, or bringing AI into their workflow for the first time.

No coding background required. Everything here is built to meet you where your work already is.

What I believe

PowerPoints are dead. Training has to compete with everything else fighting for attention. The bar is engagement, retention, and behavior change, not slide count.

I think AI is the biggest tool shift in eLearning since SCORM. The people who use it tastefully, not as a content firehose, are going to build better learning than anyone before them.

What I make

Tools and games I've built that drop into your stack.
