Get your whole L&D team building with AI.

If your team has approved AI tools and only one or two people are really using them, this might help.

I’m an AI enablement consultant for L&D teams. We start with one job you repeat, like drafting a scenario or revising a job aid. I walk everyone through it as we build and check it against your source, so your team learns how to do it themselves instead of just watching a demo.

On a training platform I built, people have played more than 64,000 games since spring 2026. At my August workshop, a room of mostly instructional designers with no coding background changed and published a real game in one hour.

How would you work with my team?

It’s priced by the hour, so you pick the pieces that fit. Your team can be one person or a hundred. We’ll go through any prep and travel on our call.

What will your team leave with?

  • A skill from each person, a saved recipe for a job they repeat every week.
  • A shared library your whole team can use.
  • A one-page playbook to keep going, even with a new teammate.
  • A showcase page of everything the team made, to share with your leaders.

Why work with me?

I’m an AI enablement consultant and an instructional designer. I also build learning games and the platforms they run on, using AI coding agents like Claude Code, so the habits I teach are the ones I use myself.

  • Embark IQ, my own platform, brings lessons, an arcade of practice games and mastery tracking together.
  • I speak at L&D conferences, including DevLearn 2026, Training 2027 and the ATD SHIFT Summit.

How do we keep private information safe?

We work only in the tools and accounts your company has approved. No customer, employee or other private information goes into any AI tool. Your experts approve anything that needs an expert. Read how we do it

Embark IQ is the AI enablement platform for L&D teams.

It’s where your team practices between sessions, and it comes bundled with your coaching hours.

Short lessons, games and checks help your people keep going after a session ends. A leader view helps you see where someone needs a hand. Your team keeps its space for the whole coaching period, plus 30 days. See the coaching plan and what’s included.

What can you show your leaders?

The work your team builds, the skills they can reuse and where they still need support. Embark IQ adds class dashboards, individual report cards and Insights to help you plan the next coaching conversation.

For the people leading the change, E.M. Designs’ AI leadership coaching helps you choose priorities, bring your team along and build a 90-day roadmap. It can run on its own or alongside your team’s training.

Play my portfolio

These are learning games you play in your browser. I built all five, and each one is set in a real kind of job. Pick the one closest to your world. The game I build for you uses your words, your facts and your logo. Most open on a phone or a laptop, and the ones with voices are best with your sound on.

If you can add a video to your course, you can add a game.

It’s called a PWO, a portable web object: one folder with a whole game inside, made for Storyline. I build them from the training you already have, so your people face the angry caller or three guests at once in a game first, before it’s real.

Not using Storyline? It works in Rise too. I can also deliver your game as a SCORM 1.2 or 2004 package for your LMS, or as a hosted link. You can also get a web folder for your course or your own website.

Want me to build one for you?

I can build it for you or with your team, and we agree the scope before I build. Each one has its own page with the details.

Want to build your own? Game Lab Academy is a six-week course with a one-on-one coaching call each week, $500. You’ll need a paid Claude plan, and Pro is enough. A note for your boss
