Your brand. A reusable skill. A quiz you can update.
Rachel will show you how to make a skill that uses company brand files and writing guidelines to turn training documents into a scenario quiz. Then we will package that quiz for a learning management system (LMS). The quiz itself lives online, so you can change its content while keeping the same SCORM package in your LMS.
We will practise with sample company files and starter instructions. You can adapt the skill to your own brand afterward. No coding experience needed.
- Watch a branded quiz take shape, then learn how its SCORM package connects your LMS to the online quiz.
- Try, if you like one small change in your own copy. You can practise afterward at your own pace; completing a build during the session is optional.
- Take home starter instructions for making your own skill, sample documents and brand files, a completed activity, and your EMMA guide. You can adapt the skill for future projects.
Come curious. You do not need to be a developer.
If you are an instructional designer or L&D practitioner who is new to Claude Code, this session is for you. We will explain skills in everyday language and use a sample brand so you have everything you need to start. You can watch first and try the project afterward.

The starter kit includes sample documents, brand files and starter instructions to help you make your own skill. A friendly CLAUDE.md guide tells Claude how to help you create, test and reuse it. Open the kit in Claude Code and say, “Help me get started.”
It walks you through EMMA: Explore, Model, Modify, Actualize. Explore your brand and source material, agree on what the skill should do, make and test it, then prepare the quiz for your LMS and learn how online updates work. One small step, a clear result to look for, and time to ask questions.
Rachel will share the current kit during the workshop and guide you through it with EMMA. You can keep it and practise afterward.

For practice, you will need Claude Code installed and signed in. You can try the local scenario without an LMS. Hosting and LMS testing use your own accounts; the guide explains those steps when you are ready.
A few things to know before you join.
- When, how long and how much?
- Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 7–8:30 PM Eastern. The free 90-minute workshop includes time for questions. Use the signup form at the top of this page. Your confirmation email will include your calendar invite and workshop details.
- Do I need to install anything?
- Only if you want to practise. Watching requires no coding setup. For practice, install Claude Code and sign in with your own access; the kit includes setup guidance. Claude access, hosting and LMS accounts are not included.
- How can I update the quiz without uploading SCORM again?
- SCORM is the package your LMS opens. In this project, that package points to a quiz stored online. You change the online quiz, and learners see the update when they open it again. Keep the same web address and the connection to the LMS, and test each update. Changes to the package itself may still need a new upload.
- What should I check before using it with learners?
- Review the AI-generated content against your source material, try every decision, and test the hosted activity in your LMS. We use fictional documents for practice. The exact September 29 LMS demonstration is still being rehearsed; compatibility still needs to be checked in your own LMS.
