A workplace challenge you can play.
Deadline Run is a short 2D office game. You race the clock across the office. Bob needs help getting the word out about a phishing scam, and that gives us a challenge to build around.
Open your own starter project, change it with Claude Code, test it, and publish your version. Rachel will guide you through EMMA: Explore, Model, Modify, Actualize.
- Explore Open the starter and see how the game works.
- Model Choose a change and agree on a small plan with Claude.
- Modify Make the change, play your game and test the result.
- Actualize Publish your version and share the link.
Build your own version.
If you are an instructional designer or L&D practitioner who is curious about building learning games, come along. No coding experience is required.
You'll use instructions in your own words to change the starter project with Claude Code.

Before you join
- When is it?
- Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 7 to 8:30 PM Eastern, live on Zoom. The workshop is free.
- What do I need?
- A device that can join Zoom. To build along in Claude Code, install it and sign in with your own access. Claude access is not included.
- Where is my calendar invitation?
- Your meeting invitation is included in your confirmation email. Open it to accept, decline, or mark yourself tentative in your email or calendar app. If the email has not arrived, contact rachel@emdesigns.ai and Rachel will help.
- When do I get the materials?
- During the workshop. One confirmation email contains the Zoom joining details and your meeting invitation.
